Hi, I’m Cristina!
Hi, I’m Cristina! I’m a wife, a mama to my two greatest gifts, my 6-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son, and the founder and owner of Mama’s Little Loves.
Growing up, my mama instilled in me a love for babies from a very young age. I have memories of watching her work hard and love children as a nanny for as long as I can remember. My dad displayed a selfless character, always maintaining an open-door mentality for anyone in need. My parents were my biggest supporters, and their outlook on life and overflow of love drove me to become a NICU nurse.
After receiving my BSN, my love for this work grew as I worked with premature babies and their families during a challenging time in their lives. Watching their growth, confidence, and love filled me with happiness and inspired me to follow my heart and passion for caring for children and their families.
During my five years in the NICU, I spent a difficult season caring for my parents, who passed in the months following. I decided to leave the hospital setting and commit to following my dreams of starting a postpartum support system for parents like me.
I love babies and working with families during this special time of their lives, and I didn't want to stop doing that. I founded Mama’s Little Loves and completed training courses to become a Certified Postpartum Doula and Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant.
Now, more than 4 years later, Mama’s Little Loves has grown into a beautiful small team of Postpartum Doulas, CNAs, and Registered Nurses serving families locally and virtually in a variety of ways. We offer in-person postpartum support and newborn care, as well as virtual newborn consults, sleep shaping, and sleep training support for parents across the globe.
I am so glad you’re here, whether it is to cheer on new parents as they navigate the growth of their family, or to gain knowledge about sleep and postpartum care for yourself. Mama’s Little Loves is a small business born from a love of serving people, and we know that the little things matter.
